Hunter08/06/26An Iowa City man wanted for liquor thefts was arrested over the weekend for driving while barred. A check of his driving record showed he is barred until December 2027 and suspended for being a habitual offender and for not paying Iowa fines. A check of his criminal record showed active warrants for liquor thefts at the Waterfront HyVee from January 15th and April 8th. In both incidents, Aaron allegedly took bottles of Bailey’s Irish Cream and left the store without paying for them. With the theft charges added, he could be sentenced to up to 26 months in jail if convicted on all counts.
