Lucy Belbin is standing for the party for the Ormsgill ward for Barrow Town Council on August 27. The by-election was triggered after former councillor Chris Altree, who announced he was stepping down at the turn of the year, has now left his position. Also standing in the by-election are Ellie Reynolds for Reform UK and John McDonnell for the Conservatives. Lucy, who has lived in Barrow for all of her life, is seeking to represent the ward. I would apply this equally to working with residents and colleagues on Barrow Town Council.”
