The move, part of ongoing expansion plans in the North West, coincides with the launch of new routes to Seville and Naples, offering direct flights to southern Europe.
Paul Winfield, director of aviation development at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA), said: "The arrival of easyJet's ninth based aircraft at Liverpool John Lennon Airport is another significant milestone in our long-standing partnership and demonstrates the airline’s continued confidence in Liverpool and the wider North West market.
"We are delighted to celebrate these important developments with easyJet and look forward to continuing to work together to provide even more opportunities for customers travelling through Liverpool John Lennon Airport."
The airline says the new routes offer travellers more options to explore "culturally rich" destinations in southern Europe.
The airline now serves a wide network of European and North African destinations from Liverpool.
