If you are looking for somewhere special to try out, you might want to take some recommendations from the Michelin Guide.
The prestigious guide has named Forest Side in Grasmere as a great option for diners in the Lake District.
On the restaurant, the Michelin Guide said: “We now move southwards into the picturesque heart of the Lake District, where you’ll find many of its most popular towns and best restaurants.
“Forest Side sits just outside Grasmere, a gorgeous little village that’s also the final resting place of poet William Wordsworth.
For dinner, you can choose between a four or eight-course tasting menu with a range of dishes such as confit North Sea squid and grilled red mullet.
