It was one of several applications for planning permission voted on by members of the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA) at a meeting on Tuesday.
Refused plans would have seen the development of an 18-hole outdoor adventure golf course and two padel courts with associated toilet and changing facilities, a reception building and parking.
Land at Pooley Bridge, where the development was proposed.
Pooley Bridge, a popular visitor attraction in the Eden area of the Lake District National Park.
Billed as 'Howfoot Lesiure - Adventure Golf and Padel Facility,' the development would have been built adjacent to Hill Croft Caravan Park.
