Felixstowe town councillor Amanda Folley said the situation with toilets at Felixstowe Seashore Village was a "health hazard" and she had to call out East Suffolk Council (ESC) out of hours to deal with the situation. The seashore village opened near the pier in October 2023, as "a really welcome enhancement to this vibrant part of Felixstowe". It is one of 13 toilets in the town provided by East Suffolk Council. An ESC spokesman said: “We were disappointed to find that the public toilets at Felixstowe Seashore Village were left in a poor condition recently. Any issues with council public toilets can be reported via My East Suffolk, or by contacting customer services on 03330 162000 or at customerservices@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.
