Aston Villa in contact with potential Konsa replacementAccording to Sky Sport Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Villa have been in repeated contact over a possible move for Ibañez. The Guardian reports that Arsenal are preparing a second bid after their first attempt was rejected, with Villa valuing Konsa at a minimum of £60 million. Villa therefore risk losing Konsa and then being forced into an auction for his replacement. Villa should continue negotiating with Konsa while establishing the full cost of signing Ibañez.
