Bradley Kelly, 20, attended Wirral Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 5 where he pleaded guilty to an offence of being drunk and disorderly and two offences of assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty. Magistrates heard that Kelly, of Observatory Road, Bidston, committed the first offence at the Iron Door Club on Argyle Street, Birkenhead on May 10 2026. Kelly admitted assaulting PC George Rigby and PC Edward Christie in Birkenhead on the same date. Magistrates fined Kelly £200 and he was ordered to pay £50 compensation to each officer. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs.
