Farmers are warning that harvest is early, crop yields are down, consumers will pay more, and many were wondering how long they can stay in the game.
But, in the spirit of conservation, I’ve refrained from cleaning the car and save washing-up water to splosh over other plants.
The same water company to which I am paying my highest ever water bills.
So I will continue to do my bit, water where I need to.
Sold down the river by water privatisation, we are now paying for the folly in higher bills and a land that is no longer green and pleasant.
