Police were called shortly after 6pm yesterday (August 5), to reports of a road traffic collision in Broadhall Way in Stevenage. Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Herts and Essex Air Ambulance. An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called just after 6pm yesterday to a road traffic collision near Broadhall Way in Stevenage. "Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene. "Two patients – a man and woman – were transported by road to the Lister Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
