SJM Concerts secured the premises licence from North Hertfordshire Council for the venue, which will allow events to continue at the site indefinitely - with the application granted just days before the 30th anniversary of the band's famous Knebworth show.
The move comes amid growing rumours that Oasis could return to the stage for a 2027 tour, with "a return to Knebworth" expected to be part of it.
The licence permits live music, recorded music and filming from 10am to 3am, with late-night refreshments available from 11pm to 5am.
If Oasis were to perform at Knebworth again, it would break the record for the most appearances by an act at Knebworth Park, and there is speculation that up to 750,000 fans could attend.
It would appear the event is a large-scale one, with the application reading: "A Traffic and Transport Management Plan will be produced and included in the Event Management Plan."
