A total of 624 pupils from 14 schools across Tendring and Colchester attended the University of Essex's Colchester campus for the Step into STEAM event. Representatives from the NHS, Colchester Zoological Society, STEMPoint and a range of businesses joined university academics to showcase different career opportunities. Alongside the exhibition, pupils took part in workshops covering artificial intelligence, wind energy, conservation, healthcare science, autonomous vehicles and drama.
