Abaan Ahmad was reportedly travelling to Jhansi to meet his elder brother Ali Ahmad, lodged in jail, when his speeding car lost control and crashed into a road divider. Abaan Ahmad, son of slain gangster-politician Atiq Ahmad, died in a road accident on Thursday while travelling to Jhansi to meet his elder brother, Ali Ahmad, who is currently lodged in Jhansi jail. Abaan's death marks yet another tragedy for the family of Atiq Ahmad, one of Uttar Pradesh's most notorious gangster-politicians. On April 15, 2023, Atiq Ahmad and his brother Ashraf Ahmad were shot dead at point-blank range by three men posing as journalists while they were being escorted by police for a medical examination in Prayagraj. Ali Ahmad, Atiq's elder son, remains lodged in Jhansi jail in connection with multiple criminal cases.
