Kochi (Kerala): A Malayali man has been detained after attempting to open the door of a flight travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Kochi. The youth, identified as Jamsheer, a native of Palakkad, damaged a window panel of the aircraft and tried to open the emergency exit door. A major tragedy was averted as fellow passengers intervened and restrained him. The incident occurred on Wednesday night aboard a Batik Air flight flying from Kuala Lumpur to Kochi. Following this, he attempted to force open the emergency door.
