Police removed 90 drivers from the road for impairment by alcohol or drugs. Under Alberta’s Immediate Roadside Sanctions program, 13 drivers received 24-hour suspensions, 14 got warnings and 59 failed roadside tests. The city itself is policed by the Medicine Hat Police Service, while neighbouring communities such as Redcliff, Bow Island rely on Alberta RCMP detachments.-7
