Plans have been submitted to Herefordshire Council for the expansion of the operations of Spectra Group (UK) Ltd at Bridge Court Barns in Kingstone. Spectra Group, established in 2002, specialises in secure voice, data and satellite communications for clients in the defence, security, emergency and utilities sectors. A statement supporting the application said: "This development is critical for Spectra’s operational needs, ensuring its continued growth and contributions to the local economy. Currently, parts of Spectra’s operations are based in a rented facility away from the main office, leading to logistical challenges and limiting the company’s capacity to meet growing demand. Spectra Group employs a number of ex-military personnel and has stated that the expansion will result in further job creation.
