Matt Bushkes, director of The Core, based in the Foley Trading Estate, said he has been offered the chance to take on the former Gala Bingo hall in Berrington Street, after announcing last month that they would have to leave their current site after the landlord increased the rent.
Mr Bushkes has sung the praises of city estate agents Arkwright Owens, who stepped in to offer the unit up, and have agreed "incredibly reasonable rates" over a five-year fixed-term.
“It’s quite literally the perfect solution," he said.
"And we’re just absolutely over the moon.”
The building, which has been out of use since the pandemic, was previously used as a roller-skating rink in the 1990s, though it was originally a chapel.
