The plans, which include landscaping, demolition and the replacement of existing outbuildings and a garage, will be carried out at The Old Post Office in Eaton Bishop. The Old Post Office, which is Grade II listed, retains historic timber framing and other period features. It notes its connection to the village’s history as a former post office and its wider relationship to Eaton Bishop. It states: "A farmhouse of this date and size would generally have been situated to a holding of some size, along with outbuildings. "Historically, the building would have more of a relationship to the road, adjacent cottages & buildings situated across the lane and within the village."
