This fog comes with the territory of being underneath high pressure, where winds are light, the air is stagnant, and the air is saturated. Fog will reach it’s peak around to just after sunrise this morning, gradually lifting by 9:00 AM or so. With high pressure maintaining control of things here locally into early Friday, areas of fog will once again be a good bet for many Friday morning. If any storms do become severe, damaging winds and hail will be the main concerns. The best chances for storms will be primarily east of I-35, and it’s possible that not everyone will see rain.
