Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are searching for the driver after a pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on a Hwy.
410 off-ramp in Brampton early Thursday morning.
Officers with the Mississauga detachment and Peel paramedics were called to the scene just before 12:30 a.m. for reports of a person struck on the northbound 410 off-ramp to Steeles Avenue.
The OPP says investigators are looking to “identify and speak with the driver of the vehicle that failed to remain at the scene.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Jeep Cherokee, with expected damage to the front bumper grill and hood.”
