WILLIAMSBURG [mdash] On Friday, August 29, 2025, Vera went to be with her Lord after a battle with cancer. She was born Vera Weatherholt, in Traverse City, Michigan, the daughter of Leo Joseph Weatherholt and Della Caroline Weatherholt. Vera grew up in Williamsburg, MI before moving to Ventura, CA in 1975. Shortly after moving to Ventura, she met the late Steve Jetton. They married on May 19, 1979. During her marriage to Steve, they had three children and Vera eventually opened Tots N Such daycare where she provided in-home daycare for many of Ventura County's children, while raising her own. Vera's in-home daycare business thrived until she relocated back to her hometown in 2022. After moving back to Williamsburg, Vera met Bob Rich and they married on October 24, 2024. They had a strong relationship with many new experiences for the remaining time she was on this Earth. Vera is survived by her husband: Bob Rich; her children: Mandy (Tim) Swofford, David Jetton, and Brian (Rebecca) Jetton; her sisters: Francie (Eric) Finnila, Nadine (Joe Simms) Weatherholt, Sylvia (Larry) Norton, Joannie (Tim) Hansen; her brothers: Mike (Sally) and Kneale (Tammy); and several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many daycare kids. She was predeceased by her husband: Steve Jetton; her parents: Leo and Della; her sister: Edie Hines; and her brothers: Joe, Jim and Tom. A memorial service will be held for Vera's friends and family in Williamsburg, MI and in Ventura, CA.
