BUCKLEY [mdash] Forgiven. Healed. Home. Jess C. Steed, 80, a resident of Buckley, Michigan, died on September 18, 2025, surrounded and survived by son John (Sherry) Steed of Interlochen, and daughter Janis (Bryce) Flint of Spring Lake, Michigan. Jess was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Lynne Steed, in March of 2025. Jess is also survived by his brother, Roger (Kay) Steed, Sandy (Mark) Piotrowski, and Mary (Wes) Kimbel, and by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In accordance with Jess's wishes, no formal services will be held. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Michigan and French Manor Terra for their exceptional professional and loving care in Jess's final days.
