Moove began with a straightforward goal: help ride-hailing drivers buy cars. Six years later, the company has become Africa’s newest unicorn, raising $250 million in a Series C funding round that values the mobility fintech at $2.1 billion. Founded in 2020 by Nigerian entrepreneurs Ladi Delano and Jide Odunsi, Moove set out to solve a persistent obstacle for drivers across Africa—limited access to vehicle financing. TechCabal reported that annual recurring revenue climbed from $275 million in 2024 to about $400 million the following year. Today, Moove ranks among the world’s largest ride-hailing fleet operators, employing 3,300 people and managing more than 42,000 vehicles across 29 cities in 13 countries.
