Former Celtic loanee Tomas Cvancara appears to have become a source of frustration at Borussia Monchengladbach following his return to the Bundesliga club. Celtic ultimately decided against activating the purchase option, bringing his brief spell at the club to an end. Despite moving on from Celtic, Cvancara still appears to look back fondly on his time in Glasgow. He recently shared an image on social media of Callum McGregor walking up The Celtic Way with the Premiership trophy, a reminder of the title-winning campaign he briefly played a part in. Things never quite clicked for Cvancara at Celtic, and few would argue the club made the wrong call by passing on the option to sign him permanently.
