The inquest into the circumstances surrounding the death of Jodie Amanda James was opened today, Friday, October 3. Senior Coroner for Pembrokeshire, Gareth Lewis, heard that mother of one, Ms James, a cleaner who lived in Letterston, was cycling along the A40 near Llandewi Velfrey when she was involved in a collision with a van. The coroner extended his sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ms James. Following the incident Ms James’ family paid tribute, saying:“Jodie was a loving mother to Kaleb, daughter to Amanda and Stephen, and sister to Sammy and her brother-in-law Kristian. Jodie was a loving sister to her brother Adam, and auntie to Karter, Lilith and Atlas.
