Kyrgyzstan is considering the creation of a full-cycle fish farming cluster at Toktogul reservoir. The project includes fish farming, feed production, fish processing and the subsequent export of finished products. The project concept was discussed at the National Investment Agency during a meeting between the agency’s director, Ravshanbek Sabirov, Prime Fish representative Zhyrgalbek Orozaliev and Turkish aquaculture modeling engineer Erdem Faruk. The participants discussed the introduction of modern technologies, the development of the necessary production infrastructure and the attraction of investment. According to Ravshanbek Sabirov, the National Investment Agency is ready to support projects aimed at regional development, creation of new industries and increasing the country’s export potential.
