The Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan recommends that citizens and tourists temporarily refrain from visiting the Tash-Rabat historical and architectural complex. The restrictions are related to repair and restoration work currently underway on the complex’s grounds. The ministry noted that the restoration requires the use of specialized technologies and materials, and is therefore being carried out in stages and will last until 2027. Tour companies and tour guides are advised to take these restrictions into account when planning routes and to notify tourists in advance. Following the completion of the main stages of restoration, the Ministry of Culture will separately announce the resumption of operation of the complex.
