Schools in Kyrgyzstan have returned to the previous number of hours allocated for Kyrgyz and Russian language classes. Melis Muzulmanov, head of the School Education Department at the Ministry of Education, told 24.kg news agency. This year, the previous number of Kyrgyz language classes in Kyrgyz-language schools and Russian language classes in Russian-language schools has been restored. Language helps children socialize and communicate, so philological skills are very important,» Muzulmanov said. Earlier, the Ministry of Education approved the basic curriculum for the 2026/27 academic year.
