(KOP) on Thursday reported a loss of $147.5 million in its second quarter. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.37 per share. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.12 per share. The maker of chemicals, carbon compounds and wood treatment products posted revenue of $520.1 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Koppers expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.80 to $4.20 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.9 billion to $2 billion.
