Gallina is a national security and technology executive whose background spans the intelligence community, military service and the federal technology sector. At the time, she said she viewed the move as a continuation of her national service by supporting emerging defense and national security technologies. Gallina has also shared insights on intelligence modernization and emerging technologies as a speaker at Potomac Officers Club events, including the 2025 Digital Transformation Summit. Earlier in her career, she held engineering and program management positions at the National Reconnaissance Office, supporting the design, development, deployment and operation of national security and reconnaissance systems.
