Screen Queensland has announced the five Queensland creator-led businesses that will share in $250,000 through its new Online Elevation Fund. Queensland Arts Minister John-Paul Langbroek said the fund reflected the government’s commitment to the state’s creative economy under Arts Queensland’s Time to Shine strategy. Screen Queensland chief executive Jacqui Feeney said the fund built on the agency’s existing online sector investment. “Our Online Elevation Fund is helping local online creators to transform the momentum of their current success into long-term business sustainability, which is an essential element of a thriving creator economy,” she said. “Screen Queensland is committed to growing our state’s online creative sector through strategic investment in our industry-leading Online Program.
