Israel has successfully tested an upgraded version of its Arrow missile defense system, incorporating lessons learned from the recent war with Iran. A Key Layer of Israel’s Missile ShieldThe Arrow Weapon System forms the upper tier of Israel’s multi-layered air and missile defense architecture, alongside David’s Sling, Iron Dome, and Iron Beam. Development of the Arrow system is led by the Israel Ministry of Defense, through the IMDO within the DDR&D, in close cooperation with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency.
