Last month, the Redmi 17 made a couple of appearances in SIRIM. The first to show up was the 5G model, with the 4G version appearing at the end of the month. Beyond their chipsets which determine the connectivity standard they support, both versions of the Redmi 17 are essentially identical. As for what sets the two apart, the 4G model of the Redmi 17 packs a MediaTek Helio G91- Ultra, while the 5G model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 instead. With all of that out of the way, the Redmi 17 4G comes with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a price tag of RM699.
