Three people are behind bars following a drug investigation in the Mt. Weisner community of Cherokee County. According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators, deputies, and members of the Cherokee County Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant Wednesday at a home on County Road 71. Thirty-six-year-old Jakobi McNeal is charged with first-degree possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, chemical endangerment of a child, and possession of drug paraphernalia. All three were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center following their arrests.
