The Rome Emperors are sending four of their top performers to the next level after the Atlanta Braves announced a series of roster moves Tuesday. Hartman earned the promotion after putting together one of the best offensive seasons on the Emperors’ roster. Carey appeared in 53 games with Rome, hitting eight home runs while driving in 37 runs. Infielder Cody Miller rejoins the Emperors from Single-A Augusta after batting .206 with seven home runs and 25 RBIs in 45 games. Guanipa arrives in Rome after batting .303 with 11 home runs, 70 RBIs and 114 hits in 91 games for Augusta.
