The NCTJ is seeking a journalist to take on the challenge of running next year’s London Marathon in aid of the training body. Applications are now open for someone to represent the charity after it secured its first allocated place in the event. Anyone with a connection to journalism or journalism training is encouraged to apply, with the aim of raising at least £2,500. Previous marathon running experience is not essential, but the successful applicant will be expected to have a connection to journalism or journalism training. Anyone who has already secured their own place in the 2027 London Marathon through the public ballot or another route can also choose to fundraise for the NCTJ.
