Five-Year-Old Caught in Crossfire During San Ignacio ShootingA five-year-old boy is recovering tonight after being struck by gunfire while walking home with his mother in San Ignacio Town. The child was caught in the crossfire during a shooting that also left thirty-year-old Carlton McKoy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Initial investigations reveal that McKoy had driven onto Collins Boulevard when occupants of a parked vehicle allegedly opened fire, sending multiple rounds toward his vehicle. One of those bullets struck the five-year-old student, who was walking along nearby Bullet Tree Road with his mother on their way home. Both McKoy and the child are reported to be in stable condition, and a police investigation remains ongoing.
