Staff ReportsCOLLINSVILLE – Mason McAteer completed 24-of-33 pass attempts for 362 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also ran for 56 yards and a score on 13 carries, but the Collinsville Panthers fell short to Geraldine 29-19 in Class 3A, Region 8 football action on Friday. McAteer gave Collinsville its first lead in the third quarter on a 9-yard touchdown run. The Bulldogs regained the lead later in the quarter at 22-19 on a touchdown run and 2-point conversion. Geraldine scored the only touchdown in the fourth quarter for the final.
