Water from Gostivar’s water supply is still not safe for drinking, Interior Minister Toshkovski said on Tuesday, following a meeting of the Main Crisis Staff headed by him. An agreement was reached on how the upcoming tests would be conducted. They will be more frequent, according to Toshkovski, who explained that the continuity of water quality measurements by multiple institutions would be increased. The water will be declared safe for drinking as soon as there are three consecutive results showing the water is safe at all measuring points across the city. However, SDSM said the Gostivar water crisis had become a health disaster.
