A drug dealer from Keith who was caught ferrying cocaine in the north-east has avoided going to jail by agreeing to pay a huge fine.
“Whilst searching the overhead storage area above the driver’s seat of the van, officers found a bag containing five packages of cocaine.
Lipphardt would also test positive for cocaine at the roadside, with a blood sample finding he had not less than 64mcg/l of the drug in his system.
Defence lawyer Sam Milligan, representing Lipphardt, said his client accepted he would be banned from driving as a result.
Sentencing, Sheriff Cowan told Lipphardt to pay his fine at the rate of £1,000 per month.
