Before Baldur’s Gate 3 even launched, its explicit sex scenes were getting developer Larian in trouble on streaming platforms. You can still find it on the studio’s Twitch account, but if you’d been watching them primarily through YouTube, it looks like Larian just decided not to stream today. That’s because YouTube decided to cut it off early, seemingly due to the sex scene between the player character and Haarlep, an incubus that mimics the form of the devil Raphael. YouTube apparently brought down the hammer on the stream after the agonizingly long sex segment. “It’s very physical and probably closest to a traditional live-action sex scene and required the most discussion beforehand,” performance director Greg Lidstone said.
