EXCLUSIVE: Alexander Johnson, the British actor who starred in Kristen Stewart’s The Chronology of Water, has written and will lead UK indie The Sacrifice. Filming has wrapped on the psychological thriller, which also features Saffron Burrows (Troy), Steven Berkoff (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Michael Landes (Cruel Summer) and Hugo Stone (Prisoners of Paradise). Directed by Steven Fairman from a screenplay by Johnson, The Sacrifice follows Dr Charles Reed (Johnson), a respected clinical psychologist whose work with vulnerable young men is thrown into turmoil after an emergency call from a teenage patient (Stone). Burrows is represented by Saskia Mulder & Roger Charteris at The Artists Partnership, Innovative Artists, Berwick & Kovacik and Yorn Levine.
