Australian Clean Energy Summit 2026: Panel discussion between Jackie Trad, Chief Executive Officer at Clean Energy Council and the Federal Minister for Climate Change and Energy, the Hon. Chris Bowen MP | Image Credit: Clean Energy CouncilMore than 1000 clean energy leaders, policymakers and industry representatives gathered at Sydney’s International Convention Centre on 28-29 July for the Australian Clean Energy Summit 2026, hosted by the Clean Energy Council. While public support for renewable energy remains high, Trad argued that support alone does not guarantee projects will proceed. The Clean Energy Council said the details of the proposed scheme, including payment rates and implementation, would be developed in consultation with industry stakeholders and regional communities.
