A campaign by water workers may be treated as an internal workplace matter.
The Public Services Fightback Forum challenged unions to tell the fuller story: the conditions of public service workers shape the safety, quality and reach of the services used by everyone.
Aderonke Ige, Lead Campaigner, Africa Water Justice Network reflected on struggles against water privatisation in Nigeria.
She recalled how workers, communities, civil society groups and academics once appeared to be fighting separate battles.
