York Press | News
The company will perform at York Theatre Royal on September 18 and 19, featuring a UK revival of Glen Tetley’s Firebird in a special co-production.
The programme will also include the UK premiere of John Neumeier’s Ghost Light, marking the first time the piece has been performed outside of Hamburg Ballet.
Christopher Marney, artistic director of London City Ballet, said: "Reflecting on London City Ballet's rapid growth, it feels essential we remain fit for purpose in size and flexibility.
Firebird will be presented in partnership with York Theatre Royal and Opera de Vichy in France in celebration of Tetley’s centenary.
A post-show discussion will take place on September 18 and an open class will be held on September 19, with tickets available from £15.
