The AFL issued a memo to all 18 clubs at the end of round 21 surrounding team selection. Collingwood, who look all but confirmed to be featuring in the AFL’s inaugural wildcard weekend and will therefore miss the pre-finals bye, will likely to be forced to rest players with their older list. “It’s unrealistic for those guys to play every week, but we do make those decisions back-end of the week,” Skipworth said when questioned about team selection.
