Yarmouth Salvation Army celebrates 140 yrs Yarmouth Salvation Army celebrates 140 yrsThe Salvation Army in Great Yarmouth is inviting the local community to join the celebrations as it marks 140 years of worship, service and support in the town. Celebrations begin this Saturday at 7pm with a 140 years Corps Anniversary Celebration Concert featuring Great Yarmouth Brass. All events will take place at The Salvation Army hall on Tolhouse Street and are open to everyone. Territorial Envoy Alison James, leader of the Great Yarmouth corps, said: "Reaching 140 years is a wonderful opportunity to give thanks for all that God has done through The Salvation Army in Great Yarmouth.
