THUNDER BAY, Ontario — The Thunder Bay Border Cats handed the Rochester Honkers their eighth consecutive loss on Wednesday, 12-6, in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
ADVERTISEMENTDesignated hitter Cooper Kruk (University of Arizona) and first baseman Jacob Neutz (Central Michigan University) both homered for the Honkers in the loss.
First baseman Ayden Hadley (Northwest Missouri St. University) tallied three of Thunder Bay's 11 hits, including a double.
Pitcher Tyler Bribiescas worked 6 2/3 innings for the Border Cats, scattering six hits, five earned runs and two walks with nine strikeouts.
