AdvertisementALL three top-tier fixtures in the group phase of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship are pencilled in for the Gaelic Grounds this weekend. Over the last couple of seasons, the grounds were not available for earlier stages of the competition due to improvement works/concerts. In Group Two (points in brackets), Adare (2) and Kildimo/Pallaskenry (0) clash at Rathkeale’s Mick Neville Park and Garryspillane (0) meet Newcastle West (0) in Fitzgerald Park, Kilmallock. The remaining tussle of Mungret St Paul’s (2) and Patrickswell (2) will throw in at 5pm at Claughaun on Saturday. Dark horses Adare, Newcastle West, and Mungret St Paul’s are the slight fancies to collect the points on offer.
