RAPID CITY, S.D.— Governor Larry Rhoden's office announcing a major investment toward economic development in Rapid City. A million dollars from the state's Future Fund is earmarked for Elevate Rapid City's development of a new business and industrial park. The Northline Business Park will be situated on 128-acres near Haines Avenue and Mall Drive. Elevate Rapid City President & CEO Jack Valentine says, "This Northline Business Park is really positioned along the I-90 corridor purposefully for this again advanced manufacturing, precision machining, light industrial, commercial, and mixed use properties and developments." Valentine says the estimated total cost to develop the Northline Business Park is about $19 million.
